VorpalBunny Posted July 15, 2017 Report Share Posted July 15, 2017 Hello Terlingua Enthusiasts! This is the time of year when we start looking forward to the Terlingua event or "T17". The how's the weather today in Terlingua posts start it off usually. Today, Terlingua weather is relatively mild for July with low 90's and low 70's and rains coming in from the monsoon. This will mean greenup and flowers for the incredible scenery of the T17 event. It also means participants start looking at caravan routes and meetups as they come from all directions of the US to get to Terlingua with its long and storied history still being added to each year. I so much look forward to seeing all our friends, the fun and good times and to raising more funds as a charity event supporting the community. We have donated well over $150,000 to date to scholarships, the high school, veterans in several forms, the Terlingua Crisis Center and Terlingua Fire and EMS. Plus we get to share our cars and hobby, give ride alongs, free car shows and more for all. Its a good time with great friends and unique. We have really great VIP's this year, yep you have to wait to see who as surprises are to come again this year! Some new drives and places to experience, all that you love and more!
