One lap of fun at Amelia Island Vintage Grand Prix!

Thanks! The popping/backfiring is from an exhaust leak. While we're removing/replacing the clutch, we'll install some new long tube headers and 3" exhaust system with a couple of Cherry Bombs - THAT should improve the sound tremendously! I plan to upgrade carburetor, intake, and cam, as money allows - would like to push the revs and horsepower up a bit, (maybe 400+), just to be a bit more competitive and still keep things reliable. Back of the pack seems to be safe for now, but having extra power on tap is nice to have!
