I'll bring my new 600mm lens and you can give it a 'test drive' if you like. I've been talking with Sean (SMC Events) and there is something in the works that will be a great opening event for the Carlisle weekend. Stay tuned, as the official announcement is forthcoming. Is it reopening after an "official" announcement? I haven't been to Summit Point since the 50th anniversary and would like to do it again if it works out...I agree that's a great way to start Carlisle Ford Nationals! There is still space for you, and anyone else who wants to join us....and I hope many folks do join us. It is shaping up to be a very nice event, and the track portion is just part of what we have in store. Registration should open shortly....keep watching. They bill it (mike it?) as the largest all Ford car show in the world. I'd bet at least 80% of the cars are Mustangs. I usually arrive on Friday, and leave Sunday Morning.
