Grabber Posted November 26, 2013 Report Share Posted November 26, 2013 For what it's worth. red line sent me a complimentary set of these for helping them develop the clearance required next to the front strut towers on their hood struts. I put the rear trunk struts on my car. I did not like them at all. The struts opened the trunk deck lid very fast and they did not slow down when the lid was in the full opened position. That caused the trunk deck to bounce back and forth from the opening force. The factory ones worked much better, so I put them back on and sent the others back to redline and told them about the problem. I told them I did not want a replacement set.
