My condolences on the loss of your great friend and fishing buddy. I know how you're feeling. A high school buddy of mine was taken off life support in Phoenix on 3/29 and he also was way too young.

 

These events change your outlook on life. Remembering all of those good times you shared is probably the best way to honor his memory...

Lost a great friend and co- worker over the weekend and love and miss my fishing buddy. 50 is too young!!

My condolences. It's HARD to lose a close friend.

 

I lost my best friend at 43. He was 40. I knew him longer than anyone else I know. His death completely changed my outlook on life.

 

I think the biggest thing it changed is how the saying "Life is too short to sweat the small stuff" REALLY took on new meaning. That and, "You can't take it (money) with you".
