Amigo GT500
Flush with cash thanks to record sales, Ford has announced it will take its Baja-bashing off-roader upmarket, with the 2014 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor Special Edition. Built as a sort-of reward to the 13,000 people who bought Raptors last year, the 2014 Raptor Special Edition brings more upscale touches to the off-roader. Based off the existing Luxury Package (which includes HID lights, navigation, a rearview camera, power-folding side mirrors, and a premium audio system among other features), the Raptor Special Edition adds Brick Red seat bolsters with cloth honeycomb highlights, and new accents on the center stack. The new Raptor will come in Special Edition-exclusive Ruby Red Metallic paint with box-side graphics, though Ford will also offer the Raptor Special Edition in Tuxedo Black Metallic. Pricing on the special-edition truck has yet to be announced, but a 2013 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor SuperCab with the Luxury Package has a $49,675 MSRP. Despite some enthusiasts wishing for an EcoBoost-powered Raptor, the 2014 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor Special Edition will continue to use a 6.2-liter V-8 making 411 hp and 434 lb-ft of torque. The Raptor Special Edition hits dealers this fall. Z-man
It's sad that SAI would change that beautiful interior with the conversion..... I saw the Shelby interior at the New York Auto Show last week, and it's just as nice (some may say better) than the SVT interior.
William Rodgers
I love it, I think I like it better than the Blue, although I would have to see it in person.
