Nothing but fun..... when the road is not covered in ice and snow. That sounded like a Subaru WRX (camera car). We've had some crazy winter weather in Spring down here this year. Normally, you would not see snow this late in March.

First off those guys are just plain nuts......

I didn't realize they still had snow on the ground out west! I have to agree with the Viper, we are no where near spring here yet. Even in the Piedmont (central NC) it was in the mid 20's overnight and will be for the next couple of evenings. Right now its sunny out but only 32... :cold:

Some one should really string up that damn groundhog!

I'm still trying to swizzle my schedule so I can join the group.

Should the update your requesting include a "booked hotel" for you? Since you drive the slowest it might be best to get a room now before they are booked up. Last one there buys the first round remember..........LOL

Viper I am hoping you can make it. I am thinking of carbon fiber such as you have done and want to see yours in person. Who did you get yours from and are you happy?

Cliff

It has been 41 the last few morning down here in sunny Fl. Only going to 65 today.

But, my has said it for many years, we get a cold snap right before Easter. It is supposed to be 80 for Easter... :drop:

Rumors:

If Don is really the slow driver...he better leave earlier because we will travel at 75 and 80 for the trip up to Boone......

I seem to recall last year when we grouped up out of NW St Louis you were in my rear view mirror all the way to Hermann. :hysterical: Jim, I have been putting up with Scott for 5 years, then he got Cliff to join in last year, so I guess now you have the Don bug too.

Cliff, who was that guy who originally wanted to do the Dragon on Easter?????

Cliff

I'm still trying to figure out how to pull it off, but if this crazy weather continues into spring the group may want to back it up to the alternate date in hopes of dry roads and warmer temps.

All the carbon is from TruCarbon out of Las Vegas. I installed it all myself, but the rear diffuser was a bitch. The 2010 and up cars have a two piece rear bumper cover and the diffuser is a bolt on piece which would make your install a snap. 2007 - 2009 is a one piece bumper cover so you have to get some quality 3M acrylic two sidedautomotive panel tape and adhere the carbon as an overlay on top of the plastic cover with bolts drilled in at the bottom. It takes a rediculous amount of patience, a careful touch with a heat gun, and a lot of beer. The rest is all using factory clips, nuts and screws. Adds a subtle curb appeal with out too much "look at me" bling.

Don't know how you drive....

Jim, Scott and Cliff are two of my best friends and when we're together it is truly entertaining. I know you will fit right in. If you drive 75 -80 MPH that would mean you'll be buying the first round because I'll already be there waiting for ya. Some days I'm not sure how I drive either, but the room is booked and I am looking forward to the drinks you guys are gonna buy me.

"Looks like we got us a convoy"...

Sorry I'll miss this trip - our anniversary and the wife's birthday during that week!

What day are you headed up? I will try and meet up with you guys at the McDonald's at 8:30 am and escort you to the Georgia border!

I'll bring some T-shirts along for those that want them and try to get my daughter to bring her camera for some "on the road" photos as well!

Sam

Sam,

Wish I could make this trip as well. Not in the cards this year. When you meet with Jim, give him a "Large" shirt for me and I will give him what ever the cost is.

Thanks, Joe

How 'bout those Gators... I'm confident the Florida guys will beat the Michigan guys to Boone........ but will Florida beat Michigan in their next game in the NCAA tournament on Sunday?

I'll give you one guess what I think....

Not a Michigan fan...........am a Michigan State Fan!

We have to hope for nice weather as my schedule is getting tight. This week will be in Chicago a few days. Next week will be in Pittsburg for 4 days. Then of course the cruise the following weeked. Reason we cant have a bad weekend weather wise is im heading to Alberta first week of May for Spring Bear Hunting trip with my bow.............. :happy feet:

Pray for warm, sunshine weather the weekend we picked :yahoo: as the alternate weekend will make it hard for me to push into schedule. :hysterical2:
