I'll take that as a yes.

Any info on pricing for just the rear wide body kit?

Pricing should be released in a few days.

We will have a rear kit, a front kit, and also a wheel/tire package, I think.

No ETA yet.

Hey Jer is the hood vent on the shelby 1000 a stock piece? http://www.facebook....41604489&type=1 It looks like it has a clear coat on it in this picture.

In the other pictures I have seen of the shelby 1000 the hood vent was unchanged.

Hydrodipped.

Wow! Love it.

In person, it looks SO MEAN. Pictures are lame by comparison, no kidding.

Looks awesome!! I so want a GTS to keep the CS6 company, a wide body would be sweet.

Yeah, it's a great setup, and not a lot of cash for a really unique car.

will those rims be available by themselves?

Might be. Can't say quite yet. I'll look into it.

Those wheels are so deep.

My joke was that they look like oil drums tipped on their sides. HUGE hoops.

Saw the GTS at Barrett Jackson on Saturday.

It looks awesome in person.

You are right Jer, the pics don't do it justice.

Had the opportunity to speak with Gary Davis on the kit.

SA did a lot of homework on this.

Front fenders are slightly widened to accept the 10" wheels. Can't tell the difference between the widened fender and the OE fender.

Rear quarters and rocker panels are also nicely done. The work is top notch and you will be hard pressed to find the seam where the OE quarter was cut and the new one molded in.

Gary indicated that the 10 -13 kits were front and rear only and sold as a complete kit; wheels, tires and front and rear widening.

Wheels are 3 piece and look really good in person.

Also stated that they were working on a kit for 05-09 body style.

He also spoke about cost for the kits, but I guess they haven't been released yet.

Nice work SA !!!

Sorry if I missed it but is the widebody made of steel/composite/both?

I assume the nose is composite but what about the quarters/fenders and rest of the package?

Is there an ETA on the '07-'09 version?.

Available on the Boss cars?

GTS-widebody = Awesome!!!

It's fiberglass. And the beauty of it is how complete the kit is - it's designed to be a very easy install.

ETA on the kits is still in discussion, I'll share info as it becomes available.

Is there any guarantee of the body work not cracking since it will be fiberglass molded to metal.. especially in the colder climates where the expansion/contraction may be higher?

If a kit is installed here at Shelby, we will absolutely cover the package...

If it is installed anywhere else, we're limited to covering the workmanship of the PARTS ONLY, since your installation is not supervised by us.

Jer,

Give us a couple details at least. Are those functional vents? How much wider is the car? Approximate cost if done at SA - range will be enough because I know these things aren't finalized. Timeframe needed for the changes. Will the Alcoa's be offered in the wider version (couldn't resist)...
