Unbelievable track experience..

So Sunday morning, I ask Allen Grant (original Shelby American employee and 1965 FIA World Sports Car Champion) if he would like to ride along with me in the 350 in the first session at Norcal Shelby Club's Mini Nats at Sonoma. He hops in, I don't embarrass myself and we have a great ride.

I pull back into the pits and as I am taking off my helmet, Tom Ryan pulls up with Allen's iconic yellow Cobra. Allen looks over and says "Michael, why don't you take the Cobra out".

Holy poop! This was an unbelievable thrill. Thank you Allen !

I don't think that anything will be able to wipe the smile off of MM's face for a long time - it was an ear to ear GRIN ( like getting sex for the first time ). Just don't start thinking crazy thoughts like painting the Limer yellow or dare I say - buy a Cobra ! I hope that Trish let's you hang that picture up over your bed Micheal :banvictory:
