MMcGuirk Posted August 6, 2012 Report Share Posted August 6, 2012 So Sunday morning, I ask Allen Grant (original Shelby American employee and 1965 FIA World Sports Car Champion) if he would like to ride along with me in the 350 in the first session at Norcal Shelby Club's Mini Nats at Sonoma. He hops in, I don't embarrass myself and we have a great ride. I pull back into the pits and as I am taking off my helmet, Tom Ryan pulls up with Allen's iconic yellow Cobra. Just don't start thinking crazy thoughts like painting the Limer yellow or dare I say - buy a Cobra !
