Another option is to use the VOXER app if you have a smart phone. It kind of turns your phone into a walkie talkie. Just set up a group for all those traveling and you can all talk together. Depending on your timing I would be willing to meet up for the ride out. We will start in Bowie of all places Sunday morning, probably leave there close to 8:00 and hit Wichita Falls around 9:00. Looking at the forecast for both Fort Worth and Albuquerque for Saturday and Sunday I've decided to head out on Monday vs. Sunday. We'll have storms locally on Sunday and looks like Albuquerque may get some snow Saturday night. Of those taking 40 and headed out Monday, when do you expect to roll thru Amarillo? I usually like to depart ABQ around 6am... However, how about we split the difference and call it 7am... Probably take that long just to corral everyone, since there are guys coming from 3-4 different directions... Maybe meet up with everyone else at the Casino on the far West edge of town... You know the one with the Neon Arrows sticking into the ground... Then depart from there at 8am... Looks cool but I thought we were staying at the Red Roof (1635 Candelaria Blvd Albuquerque) that was mentioned earlier? Well, no worries, I made a reservation there, $38, and think since I'll be in, sleep, and out, I'll stick with it.
