tony356
Only a week after the ponies event I'm back at pocono with the car. I added the boss 302 transmission cooling scoop which is a direct bolt on for our cars. I did not have any issues at the track today and I dan the car much harder today then last w/e. At the ponies event, the tranny was not too happy about downshifting toward the end of a long stint. Works great, looks cool under the car and it's cheap.Tranny air scoop
EL SHELBY
No ground clearance issues?
tony356
None. I looked at it on the lift and while it comes down a bit from the trans it is only a marginal amount below other components. When you look at how the tranny sits, it is no wonder it gets soo hot. Without the scoop it cannot get much air to it at all. I will snap a picture in the morning and try and post it with my phone. EL SHELBY
I'm going to order one for my SGT. From looking at your photos and checking out the underside of the SGT the K-member 'looks' identical in this area down to the mounting tabs which are tipically used for the k-member brace on the ragtops. Appreciate the photos!

socalwrench
Are you guys actually mounting a trans cooler inside of this "scoop"? Kind of looks like a shovel to me.
tony356
It is a shovel, but so far so good.
