sgt1020
If anyone has these on their car, post up a picture! I'm not sure whether I like the look of these or my vented louvers better. I also was going to get the plates that have the stamped shelby lettering.
kahmann
Most people either love them or hate them. I love them because of the GT350R throwback.

Oh yeah I've seen your comments on some of my track and dyno vids. Thanks a lot man, your car looks great too. These quarter window plates will look bitchin on that white SGT, in my opinion. They really stand out and give it a tough look. I say go for it!

07SGT4578
I have black ones, be advised if you buy some, pre form them to the window first, and add some 3m sticky tape. not enough on there from the factory Chris
sgt1020
Ordering them today! :happy feet: Any of you guys buy the block off plate for the inside of the window? This way you cant see the tape and reverse side of the plate from the inside....

kahmann
Where's greaser been hiding lately anyway? Definitely get the interior block off plates. It looks super cheesy without them!
sgt1020
Do they fit inside the groove for the glass or do they go on top of the the whole window panel? Looks like yours fit inside the groove so that they are flush with the body of the car.
jmn444
they wrap around the glass, and are as close to flush as you can get. I just sent greaser a pm, this thread kinda reminded me he's been quiet too!

I just sent greaser a pm, this thread kinda reminded me he's been quiet too! Quick Question, what rotors do you have? They look like the Baer eradispeeds. And I wish you guys lived closer or visa versa. Theres few to none SGT guys out here in Jersey.
jmn444
Yes, Baer eradispeed +2's, with the gt plus calipers on front... BIG difference in stopping power, the baer pads are a little too squeeky for me though, I'm going to try another brand soon.... I THINK the noise is coming from the backs, and I venture to guess that they just don't get warm enough the way I drive 90% of the time and need to be abused a little more to keep them quiet, I find if I drive hard a bit the squeek goes away for a few days or so.... sgt1020
Any of you guys think the black block off plates would look good on my car? I like the silver aluminum but its a bit shiny. lol My pops thinks the black would look good.
jmn444
Not sure, but I would paint white or to match the stripes before going black probably.
sportscars
Anyone ever paint them white? I have seen them on the new GT350's and they look killer. I want to see them on a white SGT so I can figure out weather to go with the SilverHorse or the Shelby block offs.
07SGT4578
Sean, get the block offs. Paint them white, or leave them alone, either way they look great on a white car too. Chris
EL SHELBY
The the finish on the carbon fiber plates I made didnt hold up in the Texas Sun so I have a set of these out being painted Vista Blue leaving the rivets a natural finish. I should be able to pick them up today. I'll post photos in the next day or so.

Chris The block offs are MUCH easier than the Silver Horse ones so that is where I am leaning, I was just hoping to see some painted white first. sgt1020
Might paint my next set white to match my car. But for now I like the brushed aluminum. Love the wheels btw. I might get those as a track set but get the deep dish for the rear.
