I am thinking the only way to fit 3.6 KB in my new ride is going to be to slit the hood bulge down each side and back, raise the resulting flap to clear the SC, then TIG in filler strips on resulting gaps in the sides and back, then refinish hood. It seems that there are sometimes problems longevity wise with fiberglass hoods? Needless to say, that will require experienced aluminum welder.
