kahmann
This is the first aftermarket filter assembly that I've seen being offered for the Paxton/Vortech superchargers. I'm not too keen on the chrome personally, but I'm happy to see at least one option out there. http://www.andersonfordmotorsport.com/ Ken
EL SHELBY
I had wondered if you had seen this. I'm not sure it chrome, I think its polished. Take a scotchbrite pad to it for a satin look. Either way, much better then the plastic.
blkGT500nCA
I had one on a vortech supercharged '99 GT and it was a nice piece.

kahmann
Is this suppose to add horsepower, or is it just cosmetic? Thanks, Russ They say a tune is required for the bolt on piece and that they've seen gains of 3 psi of boost. Not sure if there's any truth to that, but for $700, it better net something more than an eyeful. Ken
EL SHELBY
I think it comes with a new massair sensor that allows a much more accurate tune that goes by the name of adco or something. This is the reason for the high price.
ShowCar
Ive used the PP on numerous cars. Its not chrome but a coating they use on the steel tube to reduce heat. The car will need a tune on any blown car. They are not cheap but they work. I believe the tube is four inches inner diameter.
greaser
ceramic coating they all have it keeps heat out and stays looking good. i could see it helping it looks like it has a lot less of a kink in it as it goes into the turbine housing.
