crispy23c
Simple: If Shelby offered a convertible version of the Shelby-GT, would you buy one? It works for me! edit: hey, it's 100% pro-convertible!!!

crispy23c
Well, yeah, that goes for any car. Hate it when they do that!!! :P I was thinking add a blower, too (when available as an option). That would be sweeeeeeeeet...
rhorn01
Hell yes. I traded in my convertable for the Shelby. Now all my wife keeps saying is. Too bad it isn't a convertable.

EmperorOfChicken
I think it would look really cool, and be quite the ride...I'm not a vert man myself, I would always choose a hard top over a vert (unless we are talkin 65 goat!) but i still voted yes cuz it would be a cool ride! Glenn Greenwell
I'm hoping they'll do one in the 2008 model year. GG
SHELBYGT2007
I would say yes to a convertabile, if and only if they made one in 2008 and did not make any of the Shelby GT Coupes.

ilmor
I dunno...would the top have stripes? It needs the stripes!!! I had to vote 'no', however...It would never be as rigid as the coupe, and slower due to the extra weight and poorer handling. Plus, I just traded a convertible for this! Up here in the NE we can't use them so much anyway.
SGT1171
Convertables are a lot of fun, but I don't know. The lines of the coupe are so good, that I would hate not to have that look. A very difficult choice.
shelbydream1
Had to vote no on this one-I really like the lines of the coupe, have only about 2 months of good convertible weather here (it's either way too hot or way too cold the rest of the year), don't like the loss of rigidity/increase of weight the convertible brings. Besides, that would involve another year of SGT production and I would prefer them keeping a lower overall total SGT number. Would it eliminate the stripe package like the GT500??? I for one would want a convertible to have the stripes wether I were getting an SGT or GT500, but it's not available on the latter.
