Tcorgt500 Posted March 27, 2020 Report Share Posted March 27, 2020 Hey guys, I’m new to the forum. I recently purchased a 2012 Shelby GT500. I absolutely love the car. I’m leading a lot regarding mods. I added 67mm VMP throttlebody, 123mm JLT intake, SCT tune and a VMP pulley set with 90mm idler and a 2.6 blower pulley. My question is what is the best spark plug for this application......I currently have NGK TR6 gapped at .040 ....... your thoughts..... thanks all Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Secondo Posted March 27, 2020 Report Share Posted March 27, 2020 Hi, welcome to TS! With your Stage 2 mods you're right on the money, those are the correct spark plugs. Recommend gapping between .032-.035- that's the sweet spot. Any more than that and you risk misfire. Car must be a beast! Probably about 560-575rwhp.
