Victor McLaughlin 56711
A friend asked me to restore his 67 GT350 for him. I have do a number of early Mustangs but this will be my first Shelby. When he brought the car in the shop I found it is a automatic with A/C car. First one I have seen. Is there someone I can send the VIN and SA numbers to who can tell us how many where built with Automatic and A/C?
twobjshelbys
This forum is more aligned to the modern Shelbys from 2007 on. You will probably find answers to all the questions you could ask (and more than you didn't) at www.saac.com Edited March 24, 2019 by twobjshelbys
Don Johnston
Excellent advice. You should also get a copy of the last edition 1967 registry book ( a new one will be coming out in a yearr or so, once updated dated is collected) http://www.saac.com/registries.html and contact the SAAC '67 Shelby Registrar Dave Mathews: dmathews@prodigy.net
SAI-Steven
I would recommend emailing Dave Mathews directly over posting on the SAAC forums. The SAAC forums can be hostile to newcomers and you would also be exposing yourself and the cars owner to opportunists who claim they could restore the car better than you or want to buy the car from your friend. Just some friendly advice. Steven
