Torch40
Another reality check on modern Mustang and Shelby's. Pricing is cratering across the board on almost all used models. Those that bought their cars as "investments" better start rethinking their portfolio... https://www.ebay.com/itm/302860832112?ul_noapp=true
SicShelby
Wow... I bought mine for $52k in 2008. When I tell people these years of Shelby are going for between $20k and $30k like that, they look at me like I have three eyes. That's a lot of smiles per mile for cheap, 500 hp! twobjshelbys
How does the price of a similarly priced vehicle say BMW compare? the gt500 I had just become another depreciating volume production car. no real surprise.
Secondo
Ebay isn't a reliable source for determining car values.
Don Johnston
From 2007 to 2014 they built around 45,000 of the GT500 Mustangs. Great car for the power and performance , but not a collector series. Forget the value and enjoy the ride. Any model year is an exceptional Mustang experience. 2007-8 low mileage sales (not asking prices) seem to hovering around $30K with a couple grand more for the convertible. The best values are like any vehicle, low mileage and great exterior and interior condition. There are just too many for sale on eBay and Craigslist month after month to garner any appreciation in value.

I always check ebay's completed and sold item prices first before purchasing any high ticket item. Puts me in the ballpark everytime.
