ZEROED
When I purchased a High Performance Radiator for my 2007 GT-500, it came with a 170 degree thermostat. I installed the radiator, but not the thermostat. Car is not tracked, but live in hot Texas. Should I install it, and what will be the advantages if I do? Also the thermostat housing looks like a finely machined surface. Is there a gasket between these surfaces? Also, I understand I should adjust the cooling fan limits. What are those limits? Thanks. 1 Alibi 2
I don't have an 07, so I can't comment on your thermostat housing. If I remember correctly, my 11 & 14 had an O ring, not a gasket. To get the max benefit, the fan high / low settings need to be changed in your tune. The 170* I bought came with settings from the Mfg., they would be able to supply you with the settings for your unit.
