dbmdude Posted May 27, 2018 Report Share Posted May 27, 2018 Is there anyone out there that has experienced a banging or tapping noise just under the center of the dashboard (above the vent panel with the 12v plug) that happens after starting the car for 6-8 times? I hear it often when I start my car after it has been sitting for a while. It is a consistent 6-8 taps. Anyone know what I mean??? Doesn’t necessarily mean the CD player is going bad......however, when it does shyt the bed....the clicking WILL NOT go away. Been there too... Edit- While it’s making the clicking, look at the #’s on the player...if it is in fact this, the unit will rotary through the #’s.
