SAI-Steven
Barrett-Jackson is rallying around Las Vegas after the recent tragedy in Nevada. Steve Davis, President of the Barrett-Jackson Auction Company is auctioning his personal Super Snake to benefit the First Responders on Sat., 10/21. First Responders can attend the auction for free and Mandalay Bay is setting up donation centers during the auction. This special Shelby Super Snake began with a GT500 owned by Mark Fields (#007). It was the #11 Super Snake for the 2007 MY and is the only one known to have received white stripes with Carroll's personal permission that year. http://www.barrett-jackson.com/Media/Home/Reader/we-stand-with-las-vegas/

twobjshelbys
Great show of support from Barrett Jackson. I heard an ad on the radio and it's the 10th anniversary of BJ at Mandalay Bay.
tomshep
So what is the real spin for Jackson? He claims it is worth $150K and gets a donation as a tax write off from the firefighters? Tom
SAI-Steven
Final hammer price was $1,000,000 And yes both the seller & buyer will obviously have a deduction on their taxes but does it matter when the 1st responders charity will receive a check for a million dollars. A million dollar check to a worthwhile charity outweighs any other motives by a seller or buyer. Steve
