twobjshelbys Posted April 17, 2017 Report Share Posted April 17, 2017 Most tuners have a OBDII code reset in it. Check your documentation. Ford ECUs perform a full learned settings reset. That is, all of the system readiness tests have to be run from scratch. A warning: If you have an evap leak code and replace the cap but do not clear the code. Evap codes are self clearing, and clearing the code will reset all the readiness indicators and you'll have to run the whole drive cycle. I learned this the hard way on my truck!
