eyebite09gt500
Hey new here. Quick intro. I am the new owner of a 2009 GT500 with 8631 miles. My dad recently passed and left it to me. The car was his pride and joy although with the cancer he was fighting he was unable to drive it much. T-Bone68
Welcome Charlie! Also sorry to hear of the passing of your father. I'm sure you'll find a wonderfully supportive community in Shelby and Mustang enthusiasts. Was there a mod he always wanted to do? Or was he proud in keeping it stock? N.E. Pennsylvania is a beautiful area. I lived in Bethlehem and worked at Bethlehem Steel for a few years. Great area for cruising in your ride. eyebite09gt500
Thanks John! He bought it in 2010. Found it on ebay being sold by a small dealership that specialized in luxury cars in Florida. We talked with them on the phone were pleased and my dad had me buy it with my ebay account. We made a fun trip out of it. We drove down a truck and enclosed trailer. Then brought it home. The previous owner supposedly put 10 k in the car. I dont really have a list of what was just just what does not look and feel stock. The suspension has been redone. There is a JLT cai, supercharger pulley, computer i know was reprogrammed with a diablo tuner. And We got the dyno sheet from the car. Made 553.81 HP and 541.52 torque at the rear wheels. Baseline was 476 hp and 460 torque.
Doug_GT350
Welcome from a fellow Pennsylvanian!! Let me also send my condolences on the loss of your Dad. I grew up in Bethlehem and still live in the area although I'm closer to Blue Mountain Ski Area now. Whereabouts do live? The wife and I enjoy road trips and maybe we could meet one day for a bite to eat.

I have friends that have a cabin up there maybe I can kill two birds with one stone! Then again there's always Mt. Airy casino, we go up there quite a lot.
