GT/CS-08 Posted January 26, 2017 Report Share Posted January 26, 2017 I own a 2014 GT500 and have been doing a little research around changing the front brake pads out in order to reduce the amount of brake dust. I only use the car for weekend drives and the occasional car show and the amount of front brake dust after just a 15 minute drive is crazy. With that said, it seems most members either switched the pads out for Autozone Duralast Max ceramic pads, Advanced CARQUEST Gold ceramic pads, or Carbotech ceramic pads. I was hoping to get the most current input regarding who switched to what exact pad and do you really see a significant difference in the front brake dust with the changed out pads. Below are the exact pads I am deciding between. 1). Carbotech #1521s. If you have these, does anyone know if they come red or black. I have heard both colors? 2). Autozone "Duralast Max" Ceramic part #DGC1464? 3). Advanced Auto Parts "Carquest Wearever Gold" Ceramic part #GNAD1666? Thanks in advance for your input.
