My passenger side hood lock is a lot harder to turn than my driver's side lock and I'm thinking maybe the plate needs to be adjusted. Thanks for any help! Imatk Posted November 21, 2016 Author Report Share Posted November 21, 2016 I've removed the lock a couple times... even greased it because I thought that might be the issue... but the lock moves freely with the hood up it only has issues when the hood is down and is actually "locked" so it has to be something with the receiver plate.
