Why are the 2007 convertibles forgotten?

Recommended Posts

I just finished reading the 2016 Shelby Annual and thought the articles were great. I enjoyed the article about the new 2016 Hertz, but was a little disappointed that the 2007 convertibles were not even mentioned. It seems these cars are either the unwanted stepchildren or people writing articles don't know that they were even built. I understand they were not the 40th or 50th anniversary cars. That said, the 67-70's were mentioned, so why wasn't the 2007 mentioned.

just my 2 cents worth.

Just picked up the annual this morning and agree would have been nice to see mention of the 07. Especially since it's the only vert GTH ever made which makes it unique and more rare. That said, Great writeup once past the 07 miss.

Although that GTH article was not written by SAI the author of this article is not only a Shelby enthusiast but also a Shelby owner so it was most likely just an oversight.

No promises are being made but perhaps we can make up for this oversight in the 2017 annual when the 2007 GTH will be celebrating its 10th anniversary.
