JimboGT500
Hi there, Im new here but I've got my 2010 GT500 since April. In fact it's a 2006 GT but swap with T6060 and upgraded front brake. Somes mods, so i've got 620hp for now. My project, in long term, is to build the motor, put the 3.4 whipple and add headers too. Ultimate goal is to keep the car in street legal mode and drag racing. If i have to put numbers to the car... i would say like 800-900hp is decent numbers. My question is did there's a good combo to build the engine ? I know that 700-750hp is limit for rod and piston. So, is there recommended rods, piston, cams and crank for my goals. I didn't see most people talk about change the crank but, there no more safe than safepoint Before you ask, YES, new driveshaft and rebuild tranny will be in the shopping cart in future too haha Thanks for your advices guys and girls too :P
sheppd01
You can see my mods below. My engine was build by JLP and he said it can easily handle 800 hp at the wheels. It is the same block he runs in his 7 second Cobra Jet and 8 second Lightning.
