I went for synthetic but the dealer brought that question to me, so it let me wondering. What does Ford use for synthetic? Mobil 1? Thanks. twobjshelbys Posted June 21, 2016 Report Share Posted June 21, 2016 I think "sync" is a typo, probably "synth". Use what the owners manual recommends, and for such a small difference in price, stay with the Ford branded oil and have it done at a Ford dealership so it is recorded in OASIS.
