If you add a stabilizer in your fuel it is good for at least 2years according to fuel companys. I add fuel stabilizer every year & fill my tank before storing my vehicles & never had a problem

I'm a bad boy when it comes to this, I add nothing to the fuel. When I get it out of the garage for the first time I top it off with fresh 93 octane and mash the throttle.... which may be a suggestion to the original post... top it off with some high grade fuel and start it it up....

I add 93 and actually baby it the first tank just in case. Drive it to almost empty then I fill again with 93 and I'm good to go.

same here, I add fuel stabilizer and top off the tank and let it sit till summer. No problems for 8 years....
