hunters1
Check out article at StangTV about GT350 and Rs sitting out in the elements since Aug. Awaiting factory stripes to be added? Really. Kind of taints any desire to place an order for a new car that has been treated this way, let alone the ADMs dealers are asking
John Canfield
We put up with the same thign 13 years ago with the Mach 1s sitting out in the weather at DAP. To this day, no one has ever given us a reason for the delivery delays back then, an dmost still paid ADMs. It's happened before, it'll happen again. shel-b001
It happened in `06 with the G.T 500 `s they were lined up to be striped so they were delayed by a couple of weeks.
Bill Hamilton
Good reason to get a stripe delete car. (LOL)

mach 1 1970
I ordered a non stripe back 350 and has been sitting since 11/11 still no word on shipping. Come on Ford get those doggies Rollin !
buster
Good Clay Bar job is in order there. Those things really work well. My '03 Terminator had been out in the elements for 18 months. The clear on the roof, hood and trunk felt like about 600 grit and paper. Clay Bar solved that issue.
John Canfield
That was the first thing I did when my Mach 1 hit. Some people thought I was nuts (which I very well may be) but you oculd feel the roughness due to the fallout from the holding area and railyard time. It was a huge difference! Larry T
Just a shame that the stealerships and Ford treat awesome cars this way and ask ADMs.
Don Johnston
Ford and customers believe that stripes make the cars go faster and win races! Maybe this is part of the cold weather storage test. Or maybe the stripes come off or bubble up in cold weather so the cars have to wait out the season! Whatever the reason, any explanation (i.e., excuse) is unacceptable.
ITHERTZ66
I doubt they clay bar them prior to installing stripes - LOL
DubbsFaris
It wasn't a stripe issue....lol It's been shared on facebook now by more connected people than me- so here it is: The R race cars were experiencing motor mount failures. The mothership decided to hold the 350s- all of them- and address the problem rather than recall them after shipping. I'm quoting McPherson on FB. So don't get mad at me Ford! Lmao
