Yes, he told me about it today also, when I was asking about some other items. I already have one exactly like that one (not installed yet), so I don't need another, but it will be interesting to see where it bids to?

Wow that's a pretty bold accusation against Shelby American :(

 

Did you ever consider that perhaps the winning bidder didn't pay or that SPP has a second one for sale?

 

A phone call or email to SPP may have been a better choice than accusing SPP of shill bidding their auctions.

I meant by shill bidders, deadbeat bidders, people bidding but not serious about purchase. Not accusing Shelby of anything.

 

I have this happen all the time to me, people bid with no intention of buying, call them shill or fake but deadbeat is probably better word.

 

Anyone that sells on ebay is all too familiar with non-paying bidders (aka deadbeat bidder) so yes I would agree that would be a better word to use than "shill".
