After a Summer of great Team Shelby events, the good news here in Northern California is we get a couple more months of good weather to enjoy a few more activities! As we transition into Fall in the weeks ahead, S.F. Bay Area TS-PCR members will cruise to Carmel on Saturday October 3rd and enjoy lunch at the Baja Cantina: http://www.carmelcantina.com/ 7166 Carmel Valley Road, Carmel, CA 93923 - (831) 625-2252

We’ve done this same run for the past several years and had a great time. Last year we visited Laguna Seca. Here’s Larry Pierotti’s photoshow from a previous Carmel - Baja Cantina cruise http://www.photoshow.../watch/nc5yz6yk

Nathan (Baja Cantina's event manager) will carve out a space on their beautiful deck for our group to enjoy a great fajita buffet w/beverage ($20 cash per person – same as last year!). When you post up – please remember to indicate +1, +2, etc. so we have an accurate guest list.

Who’s in? Note: For ease of editing, I’ll keep a roster of attendees in Post #2 below.

2 meet spots along I-680 and Hwy 101 S/B are listed below.

Our first meet location in Concord is off I-680 at the Sears SunValley parking lot shown in the lower left corner. Let's plan on arriving about 8:45am and we'll roll at 9:00am. https://maps.google....&gl=us&t=h&z=19

If you want to catch the conga line on a roll in San Jose at Hwy's 85 & 101 - we'll be passing by at approximately 10:00am. https://maps.google....&gl=us&t=h&z=15

Our second meet location is in Gilroy located off Hwy 101 at 10th Street and Chestnut behind the McDonald's. Plan on arriving before 10:30am and we'll head out about 10:45am or so. https://www.google.com/maps/place/Gilroy,+CA+95020/@37.0025974,-121.5564626,17z/data=!4m2!3m1!1s0x8091e3b91553cecb:0xaefd0c1ba527283b

Jim, post me up also. Denise will be leaving for Germany that morning so I will be single. I'll pick up the conga line as you come past Prunedale area like I have done the past few years. Good thing the 500 has as much hp as it does so I can catch up to the 80mph line as it comes by,haha.Brad

Brad,

Yes, it does help to have all of those Shelby ponies under the hood so that you can catch Cali_KR on Hwy 101. :drop:

Tell Denise to have a great time and that we'll miss her.

Jim

PS: Maybe we'll see Mrs. Claus in December? :whistling:

Count me in as well (just me and the Shelby GT), and I'll be waiting for everyone to arrive parked alongside Harald on Los Laureles Grade just off Highway 68.

See you on Oct. 3rd!

Martin,

Welcome aboard! It's great that you can join us. See you at Laureles Grade on October 3rd.

Jim

Dan and Lori Fino will be attending the event. Not sure if one or both cars.

Dan,

Great to hear that you and Lori can make it this year! Either or both of your S197 stable makes for a fantastic addition to our cruise. See you in Gilroy.

Best,

Jim
