mikeljgt500kr
Thanks guys, I had her for a long time before deciding on getting a total restoration, but she deserved it so now she gets to be a trailer queen for a few years before back to daily driving……. Cali_KR
Judging is done, think I did well, great venue for judging too. Those are cool pix Mike. Usually you see about 6-8 pairs of legs sticking out from under a car, while on the ground...lol
mikeljgt500kr
Like me, I think the judges are enjoying modern technology when available, as it is harder and harder to get under the cars as we, er, "age"

mikeljgt500kr
They used Kirt Fryer's shop in Broken Arrow, OK. for the judging. Those cars are his extensive collection, many very rare '71 Mustangs, Boss 351s, 429CJs, etc., plus lots of other rare Mustangs and Fords.

39Mustang
Judging is done, think I did well, great venue for judging too. What are the cars up on racks? Museum dust collectibles that never get driven I bet. Hate to see this happen

mikeljgt500kr
What are the cars up on racks? Museum dust collectibles that never get driven I bet. Hate to see this happen Those are mostly very rare '71s. He has some of the only rare color Boss 351s and 429 CJ '71s ever made. He also has a yellow '68 1/2 CJ and a yellow '68 KR, as well as one of the last new GT500s still in the wrapper. Lots collecting dust yes, but I guess most any car collection is like that. Thanks for the kind words on the color of the KR, believe it or not, Lime Gold was the most popular color for a KR, and I still like it.
