SGT3477 Posted April 12, 2015 Report Share Posted April 12, 2015 Hello, i just replaced my stock Hurst with the Shelby 5 speed shifter. everything seems to be in place and i can drive the car. every gear feels nice and smooth except 4th gear. there is a heck of a vibration in the shift handle in 4th. if you are on throttle right or when coasting back down it goes through a "zone" where there is no vibration but, otherwise 4th gear is not confidence inspiring. any ideas as to why this would vibrate so bad in only 4th gear? not 2nd and reverse feels ok.
