Cool project and wondering how's it going? Have a friend who did something similar with a rolled 1997 Cobra and a 1970 Mustang Fastback body. He had to add a few inches to the 1997 chassis to match up to the 1970 wheel well openings but it looks stock. Below is a facebook link to pictures of the car.
