roseng
Hello I have in my 2012 Shelby front: 275/35zr/20 98y rare: 315/35zr/20 110w. GVWR (Gross vehicle weight rating) : 2132 KG Maximum load= occupants + luggage= 301kg Occupants= 4 total. My question is: How can you calculate the PSI in these different tires (front and rare) based on the above information? thank
pue174
Base it on what the tire says. It shows max weight and max PSI.
1 Alibi 2
I was told by a tire Mfg., ( Pirelli ), to inflate new tires to the psi listed on the drivers side door jam. Tire size has nothing to do with inflation. My new tires were different / larger than the OEM sizes.
pue174
Door says 35 psi but references manual for more info
Bill Hamilton
I do 35 psi for most driving, bump them up to 40 if I want a little more mpg on road trips, or deflate them to 30 if my hemorrhoids are acting up.
