"The White House has voiced concern to the governors of New York and New Jersey about the potential impact of quarantine orders imposed on medical workers returning from West Africa who had contact with Ebola patients, a senior administration official said on Sunday."

*

"We have let the governors of New York, New Jersey, and others states know that we have concerns with the unintended consequences of policies not grounded in science may have on efforts to combat Ebola at its source in West Africa," the Obama administration official said in a statement." :headscratch:

*

"We have also let these states know that we are working on new guidelines for returning healthcare workers that will protect the American people against imported cases, while, at the same time, enabling us to continue to tackle this epidemic in West Africa," the official added."

TO LATE.......... it has already been IMPORTED.

Seen on the news a lady Dr that just got back from treating Ebola patients in West Africa and she was quarantined..she threatened to sue and what did they do?? let her go so she free to roam around

and possibly infect other people if she ends up getting the virus.

And she has said that she IS going to Sue anyway. If it does turn out that she DOES have Ebola, they should stick her in a Room and NOT Treat her. She is a Doctor, her FIRST priority is to the Health of the People. She should have Quarantined herself just to be safe.

Exactly!!...with any sense at all that's the least she could do is quarantine herself for the safety of others.

She is now back in her Home State and THEY are puting her in quarantine and she is OK with it. WHY is she NOT ok with it in NJ?

actually she is a nurse rather than a doctor. And she could impose a self quarantine on herself, like the doctor in NY did. The same doctor that had a fever, went jogging, went bowling, rode the subway all over and around NY, went to restaurants, etc. Then called EMS and was taken to the hospital and tests confirmed EBOLA. Way to go doc!

Because she cares only about HERSELF.

  • 2 weeks later...

I have a feeling that this has been done more for research efforts than for efforts in saving these guys. Whey they are advance and critical there is really no hope.

Whatever is being done David, WE will NEVER know.

Some day when our kids' kids are adults, there will be secret documents released about this very thing and only then will it be "known".

Yep that's happened many times over the years.
