Snoopy49 Posted June 21, 2014 Report Share Posted June 21, 2014 Only way around this, which really "isn't" 100% accurate, is to run a taller tire, such as a 28.9" MT ET drag radial which would help compensate the speedometer difference. Most people run the 315/35/20" NT05R drag radial which is 28.74" tall, NT555R 305/35/20 that is 28.58" tall, or the Mickey Thompson ET Street radial II which is 305/35/20 and 29" tall X12.50 wide. All the tires are taller than stock, with the MT being an inch taller, and is a common tire for these cars on the stock rims. Stock tire height is 27.9".
