11ShelbyGT500
I'm looking for people's opinion on the Convertible's Recaro Seat Belt Guide. Do you find the guide useful? Is it a hindrance to you? Does the seatbelt stay on the guide for you or fall off? Is it at the proper height on the seat for you? Are you glad Ford & Recaro put it on the seat or do you wish it was never installed like the coupe's Recaros? Thank you again for everybody's' input. 1TUF14SHELBY
The guides are totally worthless on the convertible because the seatbelt mount is too low. But I don't think there is anything that can be done so I've not thought much about it. I suppose the side of the Recaro could wear out from seat belt rub but I'm not sure how Ford/anyone would remedy this.
1 Alibi 2
I wish they had put it on the coupes also, it has to be better than nothing..
doctorjay
My 2013 vert doesn't have them. Wished it did, because of the passenger belt hitting the hard plastic next to it when cruising at highway speed with the top down....

mikejaeggi
I have had no issues with the seatbelt guide. the belt has never fallen out of it and the height is adequate for me. in fact I've never even thought twice about the seatbelt guide until I saw yoru thread so I guess that's an indicator it doesn't bother me.
