Geneo4116
Best drag radial for street use,for hooking up and for wear, will be driving about 2500 miles a year, would like them to last a couple years.dont plan on going to track, but May street race it a few times a year if the chance arises, other than that just CUZIN around, maybe a few 200 to 300 mile trips, are am I expecting to much out of a drag radial, and if I get caught in the rain are they gonna be any worse than the factory goodyears, and can they be driven in 50 60 degree temps will they hook when it's that cold. SVTracer14
Nitto NT555R's will last longer that some of the other options, such as NT05R or MT. The NT555R may also be your safest best in the rain, albeit not as good as a standard radial tire. BTW, IMO no tire is going to hook when it's cold outside unless you heat them up. Wharf Rat
The 555R's fit your description pretty much perfectly. I ran them on my 2012 GT500 and 03 Cobra and will probably put them on my 2014.
freakshow12
I have ran the 555r drag radials on all my cars. They hook and wear very well. Been caught in the rain on them and they worked ok. Only ones I will run
Hopsgt500
I think I am going to try the Nitto NT05 (275/35zr20), the dimensions are close to the stock tires and it is a little softer (200 treadwear, compared to the F1 220 treadwear), so should have a little better hook up. Hopsgt500
I'm running 315/35R20 NT05Rs they last pretty long, hook up good, a still drive good What kind of clearance do you have with that size?
QUIKSVT
I'm running the NT05 in that size and really like them. I have them on an 11" rim and the car is lowered. I removed the bumpstop brackets and relocated the bump stops and I have no rubbing issues.
