07SGT5687
I can't tell you how many times I've gone to Vegas, but didn't go to Shelby because who goes to Vegas and rents a car?! AWESOME idea SA! I'll be seeing you soon!!! Edited March 28, 2014 by 07SGT5687
JeffJ
And an awesome shuttle it is. When I was out there a few weeks ago I saw this shuttle pull up in the lot. It was just all plain silver then. I thought, wow, that is a pretty darn awesome brand new Ford Shuttle. I was wondering if it was a fancy large casino's shuttle bringing folks to Shelby. Even better that it belongs to Shelby. Very cool.
07SGT5687
I guess maybe I might have missed it, but is it complimentary? Or for a fee?
HARALD KELLEY
Will it be used as part of the shuttle service to the track during the 50th? Either way its a great idea.

supersnake junkie
A real wicked way to get exposure along the Strip, but also lots of new customers and fans into the new Facility and Store! It is great for anyone who goes to Vegas, and as 07SGT says, who generally rents a car when there! Sweet ride, nice one guys!

Glenn Greenwell
Hi Jer, Just hit Las Vegas Sunday, how do you arrange to catch the shuttle and does it have the ability to carry a wheel chair. Thinking about the Monday tour. Need to come by and get my t-shirt. Any help appreciated and if there is a special number to call can you post it. How much does it cost round trip. Staying at MGM Grand shuttle has their logo does it come by here? GG
Jer
It stops at Shelby, 4 Queens and MGM Grand, continuously, all day. $7 round trip. Don't know about the wheelchair access, but I believe it's all set for that. It picks up where all the tours do at MGM (check with your hotel staff for that location). 03 DSG Snake
Should look awesome rolling down The Strip.

Wow there is just too much to do here and it is hard to make choices//// GG
Glenn Greenwell
Well Barbie, Lindsey & I made the Shelby Heritage Center tour today at 10:30 and got a first hand look at the new facility. Nice display of Shelby Mustangs and Cobras with some history from the tour guide. The production area was pretty neat to watch all the cars being upgraded and turned from a Mustang to a Shelby Mustang. By the way we got a ride back on the new Silver Shelby Shuttle Van along with three other people. It is handicap accessible and the driver knew what he was doing with the lift and securing our daughters wheelchair. I thought $7 bucks for a Shuttle was a good deal. This was the first day it ran and it goes to the MGM Grand and Four Queens Hotels only. It really looks cool up close. The MGM concierge folks didn't have a clue when we called Sunday night and Monday morning checking on it. Hope this helps any of our members that want to do the museum tour and take advantage of the new Shelby Shuttle. I spent more money in the Shelby Store on T-Shirts than I wanted to. The girls at the check out were nice enough to let me pick up my Team Shelby SWAG t-shirt also since I was there. I could not get anyone to tell me where the Shelby Skunk Works was located so we could see all the super secret stuff being developed for the 2015 Mustang. Okay Jer, and this is only constructive criticism, but on your wall museum pictures, there were several of the 2007- 2008 Shelby Mustang GT, I did not see the 2008 Grabber Orange GT-C or the 2008 Black Barrett Jackson models on the show room walls, just an oversight during the rush to get everything moved and ready to go, right? This was one of the highlights of my trip and on my bucket list....... Regards....... GG Edited April 1, 2014 by TAPD117
Jer
The battle for what photos made the wall was pretty intense. That being said, they are moveable and replaceable, and things may often change and update. No worries. Thanks for visiting!!! Glad you enjoyed the shuttle! QuickSilverShelby
I saw the shuttle today and I've gotta say that thing is beautiful. Easily one of the best shuttles in Vegas. As for the "battle of what photos made the wall" well, I personally think it's shitty that there is almost no GT-H representation in the museum anymore. The 2007 GT-H vert, autographed GT-H hood and 06 and 07 GT-H production banners are all gone and replaced with new cars and other Shelby merchandise "you can buy right now if you have the money". Let me know if that GT-H stuff is for sale,..... I'm not coherent and I'll way overpay for this stuff if it's for sale as I am a GT-H NUT!!!!! I can honestly say I drove our graphic design team INSANE, as I changed the photos, fonts, descriptions, font colors, layout, etc etc etc… maybe 12 or 13 times, all to make sure it looked as good as possible. They did a great job, and I believe the shuttle represents our true "essence". The driver has told me that he gets a TON of people hooting, hollering, and pointing as he drives up and down The Strip! As for your GT-H comments… I have heard you loud and clear, and will do my best to make a change. Just promise me you're not planning to pilot a motor vehicle or operate any machinery this evening… <kidding>... Jer

It may not be most HP car but in my humble opinion the GT-H is one of the most significant modern day Shelby cars for Shelby that really helped kick start Shelby American again. The program was almost identical to what occurred in 1966 with HERTZ, Ford and Shelby teaming up. I hope it will not get lost. I think a great display would be a 1966, 2006 & 2007 cars with the GT-H production banners above the car. Ok, look forward to seeing them in a couple of weeks. No pressure! Bash, here we come. QSS, way to rally for the Black & Gold, the GT-H rent a racer. Edited April 1, 2014 by H0050

ageishecker
I'm especially glad to see a Cobra on the side of the shuttle. The Cobras seem to get forgotten in some of the new merchandise and marketing. I love the Mustangs but the Cobras started it all.
