Tob
If you really want to get rid of sloppy shifts, pick up and install a set of these... http://www.revanracing.com/products/gt500-shifter-bushing-upgrade.html http://rehagenracingproducts.com/GT500-SHIFTER-BUSHING-UPGRADE-2007-2014-RR-7211-GT500.htm Here's a thread that explains pretty much everything you could want to know regarding the factory shifters used in the years 2005-2014, as well as the solid bushing install. http://www.svtperformance.com/forums/svt-shelby-gt500-150/953804-tale-two-shifters.html Edited February 9, 2014 by Tob

I don't have access to a lift, and the idea of laying on my back under the car for prolonged periods of time, really doesn't appeal to me! I don't have access to a lift, and the idea of laying on my back under the car for prolonged periods of time, really doesn't appeal to me! all you have to do to install this is pull up on the center console, loosen the shifter knob, remove it, pull the console off, unplug any lighting plugs, install the new shifter with two bolts (included) and reinstall everything...very simple and takes about 30 minutes at the most all inside the car...this just replaces the shifter handle and the shifter ball...but looses the useless rubber bushing...no more noise than stock and much more solid shift feel...It was one of the first things I did to my 2012 GT500... Thanks for the advice! trmach1, looks good, the other choice is the rousch leather boot which has a opening that fits the grommet perfect , but then we loose the alcantra boot i would like to keep our boot. My reservations for the 50th are all complete, and as of last week, we now have a parking area thanks to Team Shelby's participation in the M.O.R.E. program. I can't wait to get to Charlotte, only 63 days to go!
