Cali_KR Posted February 3, 2014 Report Share Posted February 3, 2014 As with all previous years, we will have a conga line heading south to Palm Springs for Team Shelby's Pacific Region pre-Bash festivitiesSunday April 13DEPART Casa de Fruita @ 8:30am (fill your tanks at Chevron) to Pea Soup Andersen's You'll find us lined up in front of the restaurant, as some will eat breakfast there.We will take Hwy 152 east to Santa Nella for a short stop at Pea Soup Andersen's (look for the big WIndmill at the junction of I-5 & Hwy 33), where we will rendezvous with those coming from points north. DEPART Pea Soup Andersen's @ 9:00am for Chevron @ Laval Rd. (189 miles, approx 2.5 hours) I-5 south to Laval Rd Service center, This stop will be 45-50 minutes, so be sure, you've eaten, made your potty stop, and have your car fueled up.**If we are all ready to go ahead of schedule, we will depart earlier**DEPART Laval Rd @ 12:15pm for Spa Resort Casino, 401 East Amado, Palm Springs (190 miles, approx 2.5 hrs)I-5 south to I-210 east to merge I-10 east to CA-111 into Palm Springs, left on East Amado for 2 blocks, and right into hotelThere are a number of gas stations on 111 once we get into Palm Springs. We suggest that you stop (as I will) to fill up so your car is full and ready to go on the morning for our Shelby Bash Cruise.Get checked into the hotel, detail your car and get ready for our Team Shelby Pacific Region function later in the evening @ The CaddyshackChime in and let me know if you're going to with us. Welcome to team Shelby A quick look at the map shows me an easy drive from the Fresno area to Kettleman City (about 60 miles~), Knowing our departure point and time at Santa Nella, we are about a 100 miles~ from there. I saw you posted on the contact list thread that you submitted your contact info. What I can do is ping you when we are on the road.
