2010KonaBlueGT
Will there be anything for a non-paying passer by to do there? I'm planning on running the Mojave Mile on that weekend just before the bash so will be 'in the area' but unfortunately, I have a damn DOG that keeps me from staying at anything but Motel 6 in LV so I'm hoping I could off-load the car and go visit with you guys. I may stick around for the 3 days and hit the MCA 50th, then head back home to CO. Just wondering....... Phill

Gerry Chase 1128
From Jeff Lacina Track Guys - Because of the safety and cost issues involved with setting up a temporary fuel location, we will not have fuel available at the Outside Road Course at Las Vegas Motor Speedway during the Mustang 50th. The closest fuel to the outside road course is: Petro North 6595 N Hollywood Blvd Las Vegas, NV 89115This is 1.4 miles from the paddock for the road course. Road course participants are being asked to plan accordingly regarding their individual fuel requirements. Jeff Lacina Track Guys / Mustang 50th Las Vegas Track Event Thank you Michael! I would go out everyday and take my boy out for awhile. He just basically slept there. Sign up for the Bash, we would all like to finally meet you. Jer
Jer, I am satisfied with SAI's decision. Even though I have not yet tracked my car, the cost of the Bash is very reasonable. It even cost less for me, when compared to Shelby's 50th Annv. Bash in 2012. Thank you SAI. I cannot wait to see the new place! The cost was another concern of ours... we wanted to present an affordable event, considering the possibility that our guests may already be paying for hotel rooms and tickets to MCA's event. We believe everyone will be delighted with what we have planned. Jer

IASHELBYGT
Now I really have a silly question. At most car shows and other events I pack up the camp chairs so we have some place to sit. Since we are driving 2,000 miles out to LV I'm trying to maximize space in the car. Will there be seating at the outdoor events or should I bring my own? Thanks, Dave

Will there be seating at the outdoor events or should I bring my own? Thanks, Dave I am going to take my chair. I went to the 50th bash and from what I remember, seating was only available at the Banquets/dinners or lunch stops. I have been to the track outside Las Vegas Speed way in 2010 and remember they had a couple bleachers. As for the shows and I assume parking for the M.O.R.E. set up, you will need chairs if you want to sit. Anyone care to correct me or add to it, please chime in. HARALD KELLEY
MORE parking is in the parking lot near the main entrance so I would say bring a chair(s) if you want to hang. I hope we can have some social time at the parking area for TS & friends.

I'll check that link out. We've tried So. Point before so I already know they don't allow dogs. Same with Wynn/Encore. Not only do I need a hotel that allows (small) dogs but I need one with a area where I can let her do her duty. We stayed just short of a week at the Motel 6 by the MGM Grand but it's not one of the nicer motels/hotels in Vegas, if ya know what I mean. I tried to warn my wife not to get a damn dog when she wanted this one....... Phill

2010KonaBlueGT
Phill, I was at Paris Casino and Hotel on Valentine Day Weekend and there were people in the public areas with dogs, maybe they can accommodate you. Thanks guys, everyone of you. This is the kind of information that helps. I usually leave the dog home with the wife on excursions like this but she has some strange notion that she gets to go with me for the 10-12 days I'll be out there for (Mojave Mile, Team Shelby Bash, Mustang 50th). She seems to feel 'entitled' for some damn reason! Sheesh. Sleep with a Woman ONE TIME and she thinks she owns ya! Phill

silversurfer
Man, what a bummer for all of ya! I include my best friend in all I do! She drives on open track, rides next to me on her Sportster1200. One car is mine and she thinks it's hers and the other car is hers and I think it's mine! So, when you see her coming up behind you in the 2013 Sterling Grey w/DIB stripes Shelby GT500, don't get nervous that a woman is driving, cause she could probably out drive most of us! Ha!
