mikeljgt500kr
This is a great honor for Peter, I bet his other creation, the 1963 Corvette Sting Ray, will not be far behind.

ViperNC
Great story and definite piece of Americana which is steeped in history. Even by today's standards the design is timeless.
JASPONY
I was fortunate enough to have had the opportunity to have met Peter at Cars and Coffee in Las Vegas (he lives in Henderson).
John Canfield
My favorite of all cars, and one often overlooked by the 'experts'. i've had the honor of putting my hands on two different real ones. mikeljgt500kr
Cars that were racing only, like the Daytona, are not on hardly any people's radar, since they weren't production cars anyone could have bought. There are many in that category that have been "overlooked", like the Lolas, AstonMartin racers, Jim Hall Chaparalls, etc.

captdave
There is a museum in Philly called the Simeone Foundation. They have the Phil Spector Cobra Daytona Coupe. http://simeonemuseum.org/events/museums-cobra-daytona-coupe-csx2287-makes-history-again On May 23, 2009 they had an event where they fired up and drove around a GT40 MK II / GT40 MK IV & Daytona Coupe. I was there doing an article for SAAC. It was later published that year in the Shelby American (SAAC's yearly member publication). I was new at photography so the photo's were kinda bland, sorry. Very nice article though, G-man was there! Anyone in the Philly area or with a layover at Philly International Airport (KPHL) could see The Coupe. Read the Shelby American article if you live nearby, this is one cool car. That was my small part to help preserve the Cobra Daytona Coupe's memory, like I said...small part.
