DakotaRatley
I may catch grief for this, but it is my car. I want to rework the exhaust on my sgt. I haven't had the time to go underneath to check out all of the parts, but I was hoping for some advice. I am planning on getting kooks headers and borla atak exhaust. The question I'm asking is if the stock x pipe should be good, or should I buy another one and just completely overhaul the exhaust? Thanks. JT93
When I put in my long tubes and hi-flow cats the system came with its own x-pipe so I just changed everything out. You can keep the stock mid-pipe that goes over the axle if you want. I don't know if you'd see an increased flow rate if you changed it. kahmann
You can't use the stock x-pipe with Kooks headers. Only the Kooks x-pipe will adapt to Kooks headers. I've tried.
