Who's going to the show? I will be entering the Hertz. Some of my vintage friends will also be there. Contact me at teamshelby.il@hotmail.com or 630-750-8388. Hope to see you there!

19again, make sure you post pictures and if there are awards, good luck with the HERTZ, go black & gold.

Aw come on, the KR pulled a 1st @ the Fort Wayne "Old Fort Mustangers" Club show this year. I think the KR has a good chance at willing at the National.

Pictures will be forthcoming...... (no doubt!!!)

Yeah. the MCA Nat's are great shows. When one is near you, you gotta attend. You will see some "very" clean nice cars.

As for the late model Shelby's, we are grouped in the same class until they reach 10 years old. The class is '06 to present, judged under the Occasional Driven Rules.

My KR has been to two shows, winning each time. So, I'm shooting for another......

S8MS,

Trailered or driven? I've been to every MCA nat since DC in Sep 2011. Only 2 shows away from the grill medallion but have yet to see another silver/blue KR. A bunch of the other colors though.

I'm guessing you are in SPD (Driven Shelby 2006-2011). I'll be in the trailered class. It'll be great to have the kings in force at Indy!

Yes, driven class "SPD". This would be the third show entered, first MCA National. Hope we get to park nearby. See ya at the show.

LOL, have taken my KR to several shows, been called a clone twice and most people are clueless as to what it is (I hate car shows LOL)

There was a 2013 Super Snake that showed up. Wide body plus "EVERY" option - 850hp, glass roof, big brakes.....

The gentleman just got it a month ago, Museum delivery fly-in and "drove" home to Indiana.

There were many other great Shelby's out there (GT's GT-H's, GT500's & GT500KR's, vintage & late model), just spent more time talking, less time picture taking.

S8MS, Awesome job! Your KR was flawless even though it has 18 more miles on it than mine :hysterical: . Scoring a first place in a field of 400+ cars is impressive! Oh and love the photo. It was great meeting up, sorry we couldn't talk a bit more but the boys would not leave the track. See you in Springfield .

That wide bodied SS was stunning, oh if only...

Opened up my email this morning and low and behold the Hertz garnered a first place. I was completely surprised. I will wait for the official posting in the Mustang Times in a couple of months. I am waiting for the trophy.

The show was well attended and a lot of beautiful cars. The weather couldn't have been better, not to hot with a breeze all day. So many cars I didn't get to walk around the whole show but I did get to talk with two other Hertz owners from Canada and Indianapolis. The Canada couple had number 341 and Mark from Indy had #71. I will post some pics when I get to the big puter upstairs.

I want to thank the MCI club for a well managed show. The cruise down to the Dallara factory was a blast! Police escorted the whole way. And if you ever go to Indy make sure you do the Dallara tour. And take in the Speedway Museum also.

Here is my Photo bucket link to some pics.
