ShelbyEra08
came across this auction: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2010-Mustang-GT-Convertible-Shelby-GT-350-Development-Car-Supercharged-448hp-/281130313901?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item4174ac28ad it is supposed to be a development test car for the GT350 cars, if it is legit, definitely a cool piece
John Canfield
Would love to hear from either CDC or SAI as to the veracity of the clam.
Don Johnston
I will ask Gary and the crew here at SAAC 38. The original 2011 GT350 #1P is still around. One of the first test cars was delivered from Ford as a red Mustang GT and had to be painted white. It is here at the track and Gary is oing some fun runs with it. robertlane
They might be claiming that this unit was car used to mock up the body parts.
DubbsFaris
Im sure its legit. CDC did make all the body parts, and it would make sense to test fit each piece before shipping. It's not like it gives it any Shelby pedigree though. They make parts for other builds this car got used for too. So what. The bidding on that car says it all. Shelby GTS parts got put on it too...they should mention that as well! Lol
shelbymotorsports
They might be claiming that this unit was car used to mock up the body parts. Thats my interpretation and in no way would I ever consider this Mustang a "Shelby Prototype". And using one of Shelby's PR photos in the auction description is a little misleading as thats not the car a winning bidder would receive. Glenn Greenwell
This was a pretty interesting post, didn't know that CDC worked with Shelby on the GT350. GG
