msb64 Posted June 27, 2013 Report Share Posted June 27, 2013 Dump the oem trans fluid and put in Royal Purple Syncromax in its place. You need 3.65 quarts, and make sure that you do not to overfill it. When you drain the oem fluid, pick a time when you can let it drain for awhile, overnight if you can. Pick up a fluid hand pump, they are inexpensive and screw right on top of the oil bottle, makes filling the trans a breeze. It is the same type of pump used for filling lower ends of outboard motors, so you or someone you know may already have one. Inexpensive upgrade, and makes a noticable difference in shift smoothness.
