msb64
Looking good Jerome. Here is something else for you to consider: http://www.americanmuscle.com/raxiom-gen5-taillights-0509.html They are bolt-in & plug-in units, so no need to chop up any of your oem parts. They also come with built in sequential flashers too. Also, here is a nice rear cover to replace your rusty oem one: http://www.shelbystore.com/product-p/7106s.htm Besides looking good, they also help to strengthen up the rear axle assembly. jpc42
some news a long time of reflexion and search about a suspensino choice changing only the springs is not a good idea Beggining of december, as i was still Undecided, and i want something to put under my Xmas tree,so i've spend the money planned to the suspension, i've order 6th december to BJ and Justin at VMPtuning a stage 2 JLT CAI tune puley tools plugs etc...A BIG THANKS to them, to take all the time to understand my mail and call(most difficult for me). it was long to receive because of the post delay, and because the post lost the package but finally found it, and i receive it 27th demencer. Now i'm waiting a date to go to my mechanic to put it on the car BUT about the suspension, finaly i decide to go with the Eibach 35115.780 (shocks struts springs) and add the eibach camber bolt to adjust, of Course i've also decide to go with BMR relocation bracket for the LCA and with Bob's LCA..... I just don't know if it's necessary to go with the ford racing strut mount M-18183-C ??? Now i've just have to wait a little to save some cash for buying
UKGT500
Great posts Jerome. I just read it from the start. As a new member on Team Shelby I missed your posts originally. As the power package you just ordered is similar to the Brenspeed one I just fitted you are going to be amazed at the difference. I owned my car for a few months too as I wanted to get used to the performance at least to a degree: coming from a 2005 4.6GT the difference is quite astonishing. But I did always feel the torque from low down was not quite what I was expecting and I was surprised initially that the supercharger doesn't start to whine until about 3,000 rpm. All that is a thing of the past now: the difference in response is incredible, the blower whines a lot more and the car is frankly terrifying on our small roads. A friend of mine also has a 2008 GT500 (in Performance White). He was wondering if my comments on Facebook regarding the performance increase was justified so I let him drive mine. (He has a lot of experience in these cars as he has owned his car from new and has covered over 80,000 miles...) Anyway as soon as he touched the throttle, before even getting to 30 mph, he shouted "****ing hell"! Shelby GT500: best car I ever owned in 20 years of owning mad and interesting cars.
